Engaging and very practical for math practice
Teaching fractions can be a struggle, but this set makes it much more approachable. My niece really enjoys playing with the different pieces, and the food theme helps the 'clicking' moment happen much faster than with standard school supplies. The kit comes with a lot of pieces, 120 in total including both circles and tiles, so you can show the same fraction in different shapes.
The demonstration book is quite large, giving plenty of room to spread things out and work through the included activity cards. Since the cards are dry erase, we can go over the same problems multiple times until she really gets it. Everything stores away in an included bag, which is a nice practical touch for keeping the house tidy. It feels well-made and provides a lot of educational value for the cost.
